1) By material

The difference between nylon and PP webbing: Generally, nylon webbing is woven first and then dyed, so the color of the yarn after cutting will appear white due to uneven dyeing, which is the color of the original yarn. However, for PP webbing, since the yarn is dyed first and then woven, there will be no phenomenon of the yarn turning white. In comparison, nylon webbing is lustrous and softer than PP webbing. It can also be distinguished through the chemical reaction of combustion; The price of nylon webbing is generally higher than that of PP webbing.

2) Classified by weaving method

There are three major categories: plain weave, twill weave, satin weave and mixed weave. PP webbing such as plain weave, small ripple weave, twill weave, safety webbing, pit weave, bead weave and jacquard weave can be classified into 900D, 1200D and 1600D according to the fineness of the yarn. At the same time, we should pay attention to the thickness of the webbing. The thickness also determines its unit price and toughness.

It is mainly divided into two categories: woven belts and knitted belts. Webbing, especially jacquard webbing, is somewhat similar to the fabric label process, but the warp yarns of the fabric label are fixed and the patterns are expressed by the weft yarns. The basic weft yarns of webbing are fixed, and the patterns are expressed by the warp yarns. Small machines are used, and each time the pattern is made, the production thread threading and the machine adjustment may take a long time, and the efficiency is relatively low. However, a wide variety of dazzling products can be produced, unlike fabric labels which always have the same few faces. The main function of webbing is decorative, but it can also be functional. Such as the popular mobile phone straps, etc. After the tape is woven, various characters and patterns can also be silk-screened. Generally, it is cheaper than directly weaving the characters and patterns.

Woven tapes are mainly divided into two categories: shuttleless woven tapes and woven tapes. At present, shuttleless webbing is more commonly used in the market than woven webbing.
